Competent authorities in France have approved the International Scheldt Days

On 5 June 2026, the competent authorities France granted their approval for the International Scheldt Days.

‘France forms an important part of the Scheldt River Basin District,’ says Leon Dhaene, Chair of n²water. ‘Upstream of many rivers in the Scheldt River Basin, it is extremely important that French expertise and achievements are made known, and vice versa, that achievements in Belgium and the Netherlands find their way to France.’
