Competent authorities in Belgium and the Netherlands approve the International Scheldt Days

On 3 February 2026, the competent authorities in Belgium and the Netherlands granted their approval for the International Scheldt Days.

“With approval from the competent authorities in Belgium and the Netherlands, the International Scheldt Days have been given the go-ahead,” says Leon Dhaene, Chair of n²water.  “This initiative will be a landmark for cooperation between the various stakeholders in water management, comparable to Flanders Technology International in the 1980s.”
